Biographical Background
Dr. David R. Reagan is a native Texan who resides in a suburb of Dallas. He is married and is the father of two daughters. He and his wife, Ann, were married for 60 years before her death in
August of 2020. She was a retired first grade teacher. They had two daughters, Ruth and Rachel, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Dr. Reagan remarried in June of 2021 to Linda Rake, a lady he had known for 45 years. She and her husband, Ben, had been married 54 years before his death in May of 2020. Ben had spent his life pastoring at churches in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, and Texas. Linda specialized in teaching the Bible to children.
Educational Background
Dr. Reagan is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, where he majored in Political Science and American History. His graduate degrees were earned in the field of International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, a graduate school of international relations owned and operated jointly by Tufts and Harvard Universities.
Before entering the ministry, Dr. Reagan had an extensive 20 year career (1960 to 1980) in higher education. He served both as a professor and an administrator at several colleges and universities.
In the mid-1960s Dr. Reagan served as a Fulbright Lecturer at the University of the Philippines and toured all of Southeast Asia lecturing on U.S. foreign policy.
A Step of Faith
In 1980, Dr. Reagan took a major step of faith when he gave up his academic career in order to enter full time ministry. He established an inter-denominational Bible prophecy ministry called Lamb & Lion. The purpose of the ministry was to teach the fundamentals of Bible prophecy and to proclaim he soon return of Jesus.
In the years that followed, Dr. Reagan’s outreach consisted of daily radio programs for 22 years, a bi-monthly magazine, an inter-active website and speaking at churches and conferences all across the United States and around the world. He also authored many books and magazine articles. He also took more than 40 groups on pilgrimages to the Holy Land. His sermons have been distributed
worldwide in both audio and video formats. His books have been translated into many different languages.
In 2002, after 22 years of daily radio broadcasts, Dr. Reagan’s daily radio program called “Christ in Prophecy,” was converted into a weekly television program that is broadcast nationally and internationally over many networks. The TV program proclaims the soon return of Jesus, teaches the fundamentals of prophecy and deals with the prophetic significance of national and international events.
